Severe Weather & Tornadoes Strike North Texas
As of 10/24 @ 11:15 pm, a possible 6 tornadoes may have struck North Texas. 2 have been confirmed. One in North Richland Hills, and the possible strongest one, a tornado in Rice, TX, which had destroyed a school, flipped cars with people in them. Injuries were reported but luckily NO deaths. Meanwhile, yesterday's storms caused a tornado to be produced in NRH due to a quick spin up in the line. These storms were caused by a low level disturbance, today's storms were due to a dryline passage. Behind that first line, came cool air which was moist because from my observations, the ground, and the wood on my deck was still wet even 12 hours after the storms passed.
